Went to med school and deferred in my final year. Was planning to finish the degree in Singapore, but made a tough call to leave it behind and focus fully on building something in the family business. Documenting the entire journey, capturing the genuine moments of both highs and lows.
In pursuit of Great Work while learning how to Work Hard.
Things I built/fun projects
- Had an idea for an empty-leg logistic Saas (yes, basically like empty leg private jet services, but for logistic lorry), built the MVP, then handed it off since it wasn’t my focus.
- Initiated Curiotalk, where my peer and I meet and have curiosity conversation with 100 founders, CEOs, and people exceptional in their fields. List of the people I had curiosity conversations with
- Kurzgesagt x Brosmind: Brosmind character in Kurzgesagt art style
- Started a wholesale produce at 20, went door to door and figured it out alone. Went from 5kg sales a week to 1 ton a week across 6 cities (fresh goods). I found one way to beat fear is to dive headfirst into whatever scares me, but in the most extreme way possible, so I did this to overcome my fear of talking to strangers.
- My first attempt at selling something at 19, selling vanilla beans to businesses, failed completely. Too naive and didn’t have enough knowledge during execution lol.
- Built IMAGI-NATION program at 18. Gathered 100+ university students all across Indonesia, and provided free 1-year long mentoring to high school students and guiding them to create impactful final projects. Backed by AIME.
- At 17, learned CRISPR, taught myself how to animate with Kurzgesagt style, & made video on CRISPR all in 4 weeks. Placed top 10% for Breakthrough.
